Digital Twin Marketplace
A startup wanted to build a marketplace around the digital twin. Each person would have one, and the marketplace would sell the digital goods to dress it. I wireframed the account, social, and asset creation flows.
The product
- A marketplace built around each user’s digital twin
- Digital goods bought and worn by the twin
- Analytics and social features, added as the direction shifted
Constraints
- The direction kept changing and never fully settled
- An unfamiliar idea that had to be explained to a first-time user
My role
- Wireframes for the account and asset flows
- Blocking and textures on the Assets pages
- Lead designer led IA and the visual system
Background
A startup client working under NDA. They wanted a marketplace built around the digital twin: each person owns one, and the marketplace sells the digital goods that dress it.
The direction moved throughout. Analytics and social features grew into a larger part of the product, and it never fully settled.
Approach
I wireframed the account and asset flows: log in, sign up, password reset, the 404 page, account management, the social overview, and asset creation.
Our lead designer led the information architecture and set the visual system on the Data page. I carried that system across the Assets pages, did the blocking, and added the textures.
Outcome
The project never launched.
