About

Hi, I'm Mary.

Mary Crimmins

I'm a creative problem solver who has worked across education, entertainment and public safety.

I started out writing lesson plans for elementary students and building hands-on STEM projects with the Herreshoff Museum and Roger Williams Park. That was where I realized I liked making experiences for people through education and discovery. From there I pursued a degree in game design and 3D animation, and built a platformer called Scout's Well.

My work since has taken me across a wide range of clients: stickers and merchandise for a community brand, interfaces for startups, and 3D pipelines built on photogrammetry.

I'm currently at Critical Response Group, designing maps for first responders. They combine floor plans and aerial imagery with the details police and EMS need to find fast, giving everyone responding to a building the same picture. That work isn't shown here, though the company's website has sample projects.

Outside work I enjoy crocheting, painting, playing sports, yoga and games. I love learning and taking on new and unique challenges. I'd love to meet you and collaborate.
